Overview
At 1232 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Amite City, or near Amite, moving southwest at 5 mph.
Hazard
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Amite City, Roseland, and Montpelier. This includes Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 45 and 49.
