Description

Overview

At 1252 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Oneonta. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

Radar indicated.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Oneonta, Ashville, Allgood, Highland Lake, Whitney Junction, Caldwell, Horse Pens Forty, and I 59 Rest Areas At Oneonta. This includes Interstate 59 between mile markers 160 and 166.
