Overview

At 118 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Jacksonville State University, or near Jacksonville, moving southwest at 10 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jacksonville, Saks, Glencoe, Weaver, Alexandria, Jacksonville State University, Southside, Cobb City, Sulphur Springs, and Wellington. This includes US Highway 431 between mile markers 237 and 253.
