Overview

At 206 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Calera, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alabaster, Calera, Montevallo, Columbiana, Jemison, Thorsby, American Village, University Of Montevallo, Shelby County Airport, Lay Lake, Shelby, Minooka Park, Waxahatchee Creek, and Highway 145 and CR 46. This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 215 and 235.
