Overview
Heavy rainfall will continue to produce ponding of water across the area and could create dangerous driving conditions in road construction areas along Interstate 65. Use caution if driving.

Impacts
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Additional details
- At 207 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alabaster, Pelham, Calera, Montevallo, Columbiana, Jemison, Wilton, Shelby County Airport, American Village, University Of Montevallo, Maylene, Camp Branch, Minooka Park, Bounds Lake, Saginaw, Saddle Lake Farms, Alabaster Veterans Park, Ballantrae, Siluria and Dogwood.
