At 350 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Thomson, moving west at 5 mph.

Thomson, Dearing, Boneville, Sweetwater Park, McDuffie County Fire Department, Thomson Fire Department, and McDuffie Regional Medical Center. This includes Interstate 20 in Georgia between mile markers 167 and 168.
