Overview
At 256 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Talladega Springs. These storms were nearly stationary.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sylacauga, Wilsonville, Talladega Springs, Fayetteville, Strickland Crossroads, Marble Valley, Lay Lake, Shelby, Beeswax Creek Park, Alabama 4H Center, Shelby Shores, Cedar Creek, Gantts Quarry, Highway 145 and CR 46, Paint Creek, Kelley Branch, Varnons, Spring Creek, and Gaston Steam Plant.
