Description
Overview
At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over northern Tuscaloosa. These storms were nearly stationary.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tuscaloosa, Northport, Holt, Coker, McFarland Mall, Lake Lurleen State Park, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, Bryant Denny Stadium, University Mall, Deerlick Creek Campgrounds, Tuscaloosa National Airport, Cottondale, Flatwoods, Fosters Boat Landing, Lake Harris, Stillman College, Oliver Lock And Dam, Lake Tuscaloosa Dam, and Sexton Bend. This includes the following highways... Interstate 59 between mile markers 65 and 78. US Highway 43 between mile markers 199 and 203. US Highway 82 between mile markers 37 and 58, and near mile marker 73.
