At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Avawam, or near Hazard, moving east at 10 mph.

Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 54 and 59. Kentucky Highway 80 in Perry County between mile markers 9 and 15.
