Overview
At 501 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Nebo, or 8 miles southwest of Ceres, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Marion... Rural Retreat... Ceres... Burkes Garden... Nebo... Marion Wytheville... and Asberrys.
Instructions

Locally heavy rain will quickly reduce visibility and result in ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.
