Overview
For the following areas... Lake Pontchartrain... At 630 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 7 NM southwest of Madisonville, or 8 NM northwest of The Mid Point Of The Causeway Bridge, moving southwest at 30 knots.

Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.
