Overview
At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from 9 miles northwest of New Orleans to 7 miles northeast of Laplace, moving south at 25 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph along the immediate coast.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... New Orleans, Kenner, Metairie, Hahnville, Laplace, Jefferson, Harahan, River Ridge, St. Rose, Ama, Waggaman, Elmwood, Destrehan, New Sarpy, Bridge City, Norco and Taft.
