Impacts
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

- At 933 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated flooding due to heavy rainfall from earlier thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Macksburg. - The Duck Creek gauge at Macksburg was at 13.83 feet and rising. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
