Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. There may still be ponding of water in urban or other areas due to earlier heavy rainfall.
Additional details
- At 938 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to thunderstorms has largely ended and only light rain remains. Minor flooding may be ongoing. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Surl, Bethel Hill, Mayo Reservoir and Moriah.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
