...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa... Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. Iowa River near Lone Tree affecting Louisa, Washington and Johnson Counties. English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.

At 25.0 feet, Widespread flooding of agricultural land. Numerous secondary roads are under water.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 22.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Tuesday afternoon.
