Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. Iowa River near Lone Tree affecting Louisa, Washington and Johnson Counties. English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.

At 14.5 feet, Water affects residences along Iowa Highway 22. Water affects Hoot Owl Jct and Elder Avenue south of Iowa Highway 22.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Tuesday afternoon.
