Overview
At 1007 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles south of Shelby, or near Earl, moving southwest at 15 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gaffney, Shelby, Boiling Springs NC, Blacksburg, Grover, Patterson Springs, Earl, Cowpens National Battlefield, Cherokee Falls, and Draytonville.
