Overview

At 1125 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ages, or near Harlan, moving east at 10 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Harlan, Evarts, Clovertown, Bobs Creek, Totz, Black Bottom, Dizney, Chevrolet, Louellen, Coxton, Short Town, Gilley, Kenvir, Darkmont, Highsplint, Nolansburg, Shields, Kildav, Black Mountain, and Rosspoint.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
