Description
Overview
At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Ansonville, or 12 miles north of Wadesboro, moving southwest at 5 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and heavy rainfall.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Wadesboro, Ansonville, Polkton, Norwood, Peachland, White Store, and Lake Tillery.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
