Description
Overview
At 421 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Loving, or 10 miles east of Carlsbad, moving northwest at 15 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Carlsbad, Avalon, Carlsbad North, Lake Avalon, and Living Desert State Park.
