Additional details
- At 628 PM EDT, emergency management reported water on Bells Highway near Exit 57 of Interstate 95 due to heavy downpours. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding across portions of Walterboro, SC. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Bells Highway at Exit 57 of Interstate 95 is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Walterboro, Hendersonville, Colleton Medical Center, Thayer, Drawdy and Lowcountry Regional Airport.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
