Description
Overview
At 533 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Pine Island, or 7 miles south of Elton, moving southwest at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Jennings, Welsh, Iowa, Lake Arthur, Mermentau, Fenton, Evangeline, Pine Island, Lebleu Settlement, Lacassine, Hathaway, and Roanoke. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 44 and 71.
