Cape Decision to Cape Edgecumbe from 15 to 80 NM... Cape Edgecumbe to Cape Spencer from 15 to 80 NM... Cape Spencer to Cape Fairweather from 15 to 85 NM... * At 953 PM AKDT, satellite and radar imagery indicated heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. Locations impacted include... Cape Cross, Portlock Harbor, Surge Bay, Yakobi Rock, Cape Edgecumbe, Shelikof Bay, Sea Lion Cove, Graves Harbor, Salisbury Sound, Palma Bay, Biorka Island, Olga Strait, Sitka Harbor, Whale Bay and Cape Ommaney.
Instructions
Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office. Mariners can expect gusty winds, small hail, high waves, dangerous lightning and heavy rains. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
