Impacts
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Additional details
- At 747 AM CDT /647 AM MDT/, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Colby, Oakley, Grinnell, Levant, Rexford, Selden, Winona, Monument, Gem, Menlo, Wallace, Russell Springs, Mingo, Halford, Angelus and Seguin.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
