Description
Overview
At 713 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles south of Estrella Mountain Park, or 13 miles south of Goodyear, moving southwest at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Avondale, Goodyear, Estrella, Sonoran National Monument, Estrella Mountain Park, and Rainbow Valley. This includes AZ Route 238 between mile markers 14 and 29.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
