Description

What

For the Gale Warning, northeast winds 30 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 14 to 19 ft. For the Storm Watch, north winds 35 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt possible and seas 13 to 18 ft possible.

Where

Waters from Fenwick Island DE to Chintoteague VA from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Chincoteague VA to Parramore Island VA from 20 to 60 NM.

When

For the Gale Warning, until 1 PM EDT Friday. For the Storm Watch, from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

Impacts

Storm force winds and hazardous seas could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Instructions

Mariners should prepare to remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the vessel before the onset of severe conditions.
