Elevated surf of 3-5 feet with sets up to 6 feet and astronomical tides of 6.0-6.5 feet expected, leading to minor tidal overflow.

San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas.

From early Friday morning through Sunday afternoon.
Impacts
Minor tidal overflow and minor coastal erosion expected during high tides. Additionally, elevated surf will lead to strong rip currents.
Additional details
High tides are expected to be around 6.2 feet, gradually building over 6.5 feet by Sunday.
Instructions
A beach hazards statement for minor tidal overflow means that high astronomical tides possibly in combination with above normal surf may produce minor flooding of low-lying areas along the beach such as beach parking lots.
