Description
What
For the Small Craft Advisory, east winds to 25 kt and seas 7 to 10 feet. For the Tropical Storm Watch, east winds 25 to 35 kt and seas 9 to 14 feet.
Where
Kaiwi Channel, Maui County Windward Waters and Maui County Leeward Waters.
When
For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM HST Friday. For the Tropical Storm Watch, beginning at 6 AM HST Friday.
Impacts
Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instructions
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
