Description
Overview
At 332 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Clovis, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Texico and Pleasant Hill. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 387 and 395.
Instructions
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
