Impacts
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Rivers continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

- At 356 PM MDT, heavy rainfall near Lincoln will cause rapid rises on the Rio Hondo and Rio Bonito. Low water crossings and US Highway 380 will be impacted from Lincoln to the Chaves County border. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away from river banks as flow can rapidly increase.
