Flooding caused by excessive rainfall from the thunderstorms last night continues.
Where
Calhoun County in north central West Virginia.

Until 415 AM EDT Friday.

Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring.

- At 930 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooded roadways across the warned area. The Little Kanawha River gauge at Grantsville has risen above action stage, or 34 feet, and continues to rise. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
