Description
Overview
At 256 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rainfall has ended across the warned area. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen in the area between Casa Blanca Road, Marmon Ranch Road, and Sunset Road east of Acoma Pueblo and south of Laguna Pueblo. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.50 inches are possible with the next batch of showers and thunderstorms. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Impacts
Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Laguna Pueblo, New Laguna, Mesita, Acoma Pueblo, Paraje, Seama and Acomita. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 106 and 122.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
