Overview
SVRABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West Central San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico... * Until 345 PM MDT. * At 258 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of Villanueva, or 19 miles south of Las Vegas, moving north at 25 mph.

Tecolote, Ribera, Romeroville, Villanueva, Villanueva State Park, Chapelle, Ojitos Frios, Los Montoyas and Sena. This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 321 and 344.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
