Description
Overview
At 646 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles west of Conchas Dam, or 31 miles southwest of Mosquero, moving east at 30 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Conchas Dam, Conchas Lake State Park, Conchas and Bell Ranch. This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 61 and 86.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes.
