Description
Overview
At 715 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles east of Conchas Dam, or 22 miles south of Mosquero, moving east at 35 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mosquero, Conchas Dam, Conchas, Conchas Lake State Park and Bell Ranch. This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 67 and 88.
Instructions
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
