Description
Overview
At 833 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Cannon Air Force Base, or 7 miles southwest of Clovis, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Impacts
Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base and Portair. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 379 and 387.
Instructions
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. Tornadoes are difficult to observe at night. Take cover now!
