- At 521 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1/4 to 1/2 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... Shirley, Manorville, Center Moriches, Southampton, Westhampton, Mastic, Mastic Beach, Davis Park, Hampton Bays, North Bellport, East Moriches, East Quogue, Brookhaven, Speonk, Bellport and Quogue. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
