...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in New Mexico... Pecos River Near Lake Arthur affecting Chaves County. .Heavy rains within the Pecos River drainage basin will result in significant rises on the river today. Pay attention to river forecasts for changes in height and timing information. The most recent forecast has lowered the peak crest from moderate flood to minor flood but with a longer duration of elevated flows.
