Overview
At 305 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from Ciales eastward to Naranjito and Toa Alta
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Funnel clouds and small hail are possible.

Impacts
Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Corozal, Naranjito, H. Rivera Colon, Galateo, Morovis, Orocovis, Ciales, Toa Alta, Pajaros, Franquez, Barahona, Mucarabones, Rio Lajas, Candelaria, Florida, Miranda, Barranquitas, Comerio, Pajonal and Palomas.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
