Description
Overview
At 347 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending westward from Corozal and Morovis to Utuado. These storms are nearly stationary.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Funnel clouds and small size hail are possible.

Impacts
Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Jayuya, Ciales, Morovis, Orocovis, Utuado, Barahona, Franquez and Cayuco.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
