Description
Overview
At 435 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Ciales to over Corozal and Toa Alta, and is stationary.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Funnel clouds to a brief weak tornado and small size hail are possible.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Morovis, Corozal, Vega Alta, Vega Baja, Ciales, Toa Alta, Naranjito, Toa Baja, Manati, Ceiba, Miranda, Franquez, Barahona, Monserrate, H. Rivera Colon, Galateo, Coto Norte and Rio Lajas.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
