...HIGH SURF WARNING IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT... ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR EAST FACING SHORES OF KAUAI, OAHU, MOLOKAI, MAUI, AND THE BIG ISLAND THROUGH SUNDAY... .Hurricane Nolo is generating swell that is producing warning level surf along southeast facing shores of the Big Island. This swell combined with strengthening trades is producing advisory level surf along east facing shores of the Big Island, Maui, Molokai, Oahu and Kauai that will maintain tonight and then begin to diminish on Sunday as Nolo moves westward away from the islands.

Stay away from the shoreline along the affected coasts. Be prepared for road closures. Postpone entering or leaving channels affected by the high surf until the surf subsides.
