What
Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

From 1 PM Friday to 7 AM AKDT Saturday.
Impacts
Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility below one quarter mile. Very strong winds could result in power outages.
Additional details
Snow will change to rain Saturday morning. Strongest wind gusts will be Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning, weakening slowly in the afternoon.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
