- At 536 AM MST,water levels along Oak Creek continue to fall this morning, but remain at action stage in Sedona and above minor flood stage in Cornville. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Oak Creek. - For Oak Creek at Cornville: At 5:00am the stage was 10.57 feet. Flood Stage is 8.0 feet. Impacts: At 7.0 feet: Flooding begins to inundate lower terrace of RV park upstream of Page Springs Road Bridge. At 8.0 feet: Flooding of lower terrace of RV park upstream of Page Springs Road Bridge. At 9.0 feet: Hiking trails along banks of creek affected. Portions of residential yards flooded. For Oak Creek at Oak Creek at Sedona: At 4:45am the stage was 7.06 feet. Flood Stage is 14.0 feet. Impacts: At 5.0 feet: Multiple private low water crossings and bridges over Oak Creek above Sedona become impassable. At 7.0 feet: Likely to cause minor flooding downstream in Page Springs area near stream gage OACA3 4 to 6 hours later. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sedona, Cornville, Jordan, Page Springs, Indian Gardens, Pine Flats, Uptown Sedona, Sedona Airport, Red Rock State Park, Slide Rock State Park, West Fork of Oak Creek, Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek Vista Overlook. - This includes the following highways... State Route 179 between mile markers 310 and 313. State Route 89A between mile markers 373 and 393. This includes the following recreation areas andcampgrounds... Manzanita Campground, Pine Flat Campground, Cave Springs Campground and Windmill Park. This includes the following swimming holes... Pumphouse Wash, Slide Rock, Encinoso, Grasshopper Point, Midgely Bridge, Buddha Beach "Red Rock Crossing", Crescent Moon Ranch and Mormons Crossing. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are unstable and unsafe during any flooding event. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
