Northwestern Union County in north central Georgia... Murray County in northwestern Georgia... * Until 700 AM EST. * At 448 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing.

Chatsworth, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Eton, East Ellijay, Morganton, Colwell, Cherry Log, Higdon, Mountaintown, Jones Mill, Epworth, Conasauga Lake, Tails Creek, Cohutta Wilderness, Talona, Mineral Bluff, Roundtop, Fort Mountain State Park and Loving.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
