Overview
At 615 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Clayton, or 9 miles northwest of Smithfield, moving south at 25 mph.

60 mph wind gusts.

Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Garner, Clayton, Knightdale, Wendell, Flowers, and Lake Benson. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 299 and 312. Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 13 and 16. Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 23 and 24.
Instructions
