What

Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

Where

Portions of northwest Illinois, including the following counties, Carroll, Jo Daviess, Stephenson and Whiteside and Iowa, including the following counties, Buchanan, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson and Jones.

When

Through Sunday morning.

Impacts

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

Additional details

- Rounds of showers and storms are expected through tonight. These storms will be capable of rainfall rates between 1 to 2 inches per hour. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are likely in the hardest hit areas through early Sunday morning with the potential for localized areas of 3+ inches.
