Description
Overview
At 556 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Abilene to 8 miles southwest of Enterprise to 5 miles southeast of Carlton, moving east at 20 mph.
Hazard
60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Automated Weather Station. At 5:52 PM, the Abilene Airport measured a 60 MPH wind gust.
Impacts
Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Abilene, Herington, Chapman, Solomon, Enterprise, Hope, Woodbine, Carlton, and Moonlight. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 267 and 289.
