Description

Overview

At 708 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles southeast of St. George to 8 miles west of Eskridge, moving northeast at 45 mph.

Hazard

70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

Impacts

Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Alma, Eskridge, Maple Hill, McFarland, Paxico, Keene, and Volland. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 318 and 345.

Instructions

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
