Overview
For the following areas... Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out 20 NM... At 916 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Panama City Beach, moving southwest at 15 knots.

Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

Impacts
Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Locations impacted include... Panama City Beach and Laguna Beach.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected.
